I think I’ve figured out what happens. The app has introduced a new “Still There?” pop up with no audio component and then I assume cuts off service if you do not respond promptly, for example if you have your eyes on the road while driving. I have deleted this app and no longer recommend it. #enshittification #google #travel #waze
