In my experience, I've seen libertarians genuinely agree with trying to solve issues the left is also trying to solve, such as healthcare, racial disparities, and monopolistic abuse. Yet, many of their solutions, such as deregulation in order to create a free market and promoting business opportunities, have not worked out in reality. First off, we've seen many monopolies and oligopolies rise in a relatively unregulated market (such as those in the tech industry), and they have acquired enough power to crush competition highly effectively (making the purpose of capitalism pointless). Second, they fail to acknowledge that the capitalist class doesn't actually want deregulation. They don't want even the small chance of another capitalist coming in and taking away their power, so they pay the government to suppress the market for them. Really, they would gladly kick the ladder that led them to their large, abusive position in the first place.
