Been thinking recently, the net really is a pain nowadays. Large chunks now are all arguments, politics, extreme horny-posting, or "memes", all with no breaks or understanding. Yet these aspects are all now fucking up the real world as everyone overuses the net.
I don't expect large scale philosophical debates with tons of evidence from well researched experts, but it'd just be nice to have larger chunks of simplistic enjoyment. Circles of people don't grow anymore because of intense (but not entirely unjustified) paranoia about what the added people might do, leaving only small groups of aimless people.
Porn and horny posts can get annoying, as any place engaging in them now slowly transforms into people trying to make the most "unhinged" fetish filled fanfiction of a post, or posting nonstop images and killing all conversation outright.
What's the most tiring though is the feeling of having to use a facade to be able to communicate anymore. Sometimes I just get the feeling of not being able to voice full thoughts or being able to voice certain thoughts at all because of the need to keep a certain type of appearance on any given site.
Not entirely sure where I'm going with this post or what I'm saying. Maybe it's just some bundled up frustration from both the real world and online. Wish I had an actual creative hobby I could use to clear up my mind, but alas I lack any capacity for creativity. For now though, it's time to go back to using anime girls and an entirely too large music playlist as a replacement for feeling. :flan_yea:
