I think that all the old FontBooks \u0026 other printed ephemera were taken then. IIRC, Monotype didn’t want to have any of that stuff in its pristine new office on the other side of Berlin. My impression is that history is a burden Monotype does not want to pay to preserve. An exec told me it was Mono’s stuff and Monotype could dispose of it if it wanted 🤷♂️",
