Neighbor came by to say one of our dead trees fell partly across their back yard. Nothing I can do about it this minute, but that explains the shudder I felt in the house last night. Tree falling. Didn't hit the house(s) and I didn't really hear a sound but felt the ground shock.

If you live in a shitty late-1960s/1970s suburb, all the shitty maple trees the developer planted back then are now right around the age they fall apart. But in new developments, they keep planting cheap maples.
