Most visitors were 16/23 yrs old. But I vividly remember 1 'older couple' of ~40. He had a tense, high-strung expression, she was more blasé.
They were so completely 'out of place' that when they hit the dance floor, people glanced. But they just danced in their highly focused cocoon. Each week I looked around to see if they were there.
At this stage in my life I can only applaud them for the courage to don't fucking care and just go and dance the life out of them.
