To be frank, also the ICJ ruling is used by Israel as a pretext to continue the bombings calling them "self-defense" – it doesn't really matter what the courts say.

I get your point: be careful not to propose or demand something more extreme than is necessary to end this violence. (That's your point, right?)

But I think that the only way to end the violence and save Palestine is to end the occupation of Palestine (entirely). And that does seem to mean the end of Israel.
