I do admit I forgot to close the green house top lights yesterday before Bert hit - they ended up displaced but fortunately not broken
But our LA did get the gritters out on Wednesday evening before the (brief) snow we had on Thursday morning.
And I hope those potentially affected have been acting on the well publicised flood warnings for both upper and lower Teign though: we've had 60mm of rain so far and it's not stopping.
But on the foresight of LAs I do questions some of the decisions made as to where thy've allowed new housing though.
