Q. why does the Govt. want the BMA to also regulate physician associates & anaesthesia associates?
The BMA thinks this will 'muddy the waters' on regulation of the #healthservice & will lead to #patient confusion about whether they have *actually* seen #doctors.
But, perhaps the key thing to ask is what are the #Tories trying to achieve?
As elsewhere they are trying to normalise the de-professionalisation of staff & dilute skills... in this case, to further damage the NHS's reputation!
