The irony of a country that has a large population of religious fundamentalists who are unvaccinated, creating a situation on their border where polio will run rampant, is just too rich.

Multiple vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks in the US have come from unvaccinated folks who travelled to Israel. Does anyone really think we won’t see horrific public health threats come out of Israel now that polio and other preventable illness is circulating in Gaza?
