I wasn't planning to do an abolition thread this week, but the Adams mess and the announcement today of yet ANOTHER investigation into one of his appointee/police cronies, https://gothamist.com/news/city-investigators-seize-cash-from-nyc-sheriffs-office-hours-after-mayor-adams-indicted-on-corruption-charges, gives me an opportunity to remind people why the police cannot be reformed.
