I mean with regards to trump it has been a low-key endorsement from then til now. In contrast to someone like Ben Shapiro who was fiercely anti-trump in 2016 but zealously pro-trump now. Imo I think Ben knew back then. He has enough connections that someone would have told him what was up. It would have spoiled the ruse though if he openly supported him, so I think he was just pretending to hate.
