Today I helped one of my friends pick out a dog at the shelter. He took home a sweet 7-year-old lovebug named Rose who promptly crawled up on the couch, curled up in our laps, and stole our hearts.
(Well, except the cat's. The cat was not happy, those were HER laps to ignore as she pleased.)
