My mother died this year and after her estate was settled I was incredibly lucky and grateful to be able to clear my mortgage. Literally within 48 hours I started getting calls from no caller ID numbers pitching investment property seminars. I’ve answered a couple and grilled them how they got my number. Apparently an ‘automated list’. As I’ve never had these calls before that’s pretty suspect. Have others had these types of experiences being targeted? Is it just data scraping?
