Australians, you have a lot to answer for. You have a native pit viper called a "death adder". That sounds bad ass, right? It's a motherfuckin' DEATH ADDER. This is what it looks like:

This poor bastard literally looks like a piece of shredded tire rubber found in a muddy ditch. This snake looks like something Chinese peasants stamped out of recycled materials in a toxic factory on the Yangtze river.
Meanwhile, in the US, we have a very similar pit viper called a "Copperhead". This is what it looks like, and this absolute madlad isn't even deadly:
