hi dear sys admin, what is your method for making a postgresql backup?, today I learned an interesting method that uses a lot of hard disk space (and bandwidth) but seems pretty useful since cpu won't be affected.
Continuous Archiving and Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR)
Its a backup direct from filesystem and doesn't require stopping postgresql
