That’s why you see so many anonymous accounts here (frogs, dogs, etc…😂😂) a lot of people are not comfortable exposing there true identity here.
The Nostr implementation of the social media part is schizophrenic. On one hand we are copying traditional social media features (likes, follows,…) that are designed to maximize engagement regardless of value, and we advocate for value4value, and control over your experience.
On the other hand, the user has no control over his data, you can tell me run your own relay, but that does not solve the problem, your data is broadcasted to the other relays. So really, you have no control over your data.
