I'm starting to think I was a better photographer when I didn't know all the rules of composition and what is interesting to audience. My curiosity drove the eye and intuition, the shutter.

Partly why I've been shooting with my mobile phone for several months, to wean off of expectations from myself. But I've been itching to pick up the big cameras again, hence dipping into my archive to remember what I am capable of, if I don't get in my own way.
