Both economies are so intertwined and it hurts both countries when tariffs come into effect. Even your HVAC system, refrigerators, etc cross the border multiple times before being sold. From parts to assembly. So if it crosses 3 times and there are 25% tariffs added each time, we’re all paying substantially more for the same item.
