Griffith (nprofile…dw3q) I have a friend who tried to quit several times, but he always reverted.
The reason he gave me as to "why?" was that he was around smokers, he lived with somkers, etc. So at some point a tempting thought crossed his mind: "So I spend so much time in this nicotine smoke, it might as well be smoking anyway since the doctors say staying in smoke is just the same as smoking".
What I'm getting at is that you will maybe encounter this thought but you must disregard it, even if you do stay beside smokers often. Staying in smoke will still be of lesser frequency than smoking half a pack or an entire pack/day.
Plus you can limit your time standing around people smoking anyway. They're going to finish their cigs in 5 minutes, so even if they're your most treasured friends, 5 minutes spent without them is no big deal.
