When I was 15, I had a very severe travel bug and I decided that I would have lunch in Malaysia every other week. I kept my passport in my school bag.
Every Wed or Thurs, or whichever day I didn’t have band or track practice, I would leave school and wait for the public bus 170 right outside my school gate. It took 45 min to the border. 20 min to clear immigration.
When I got there, I’d go get noodles then make the trip back to Singapore.
