what is with the obsession modern RPGs have about just handing you the answer to a puzzle before you even have a chance to figure it out?
NPC: "i'm not sure where i left my magic doohickey. it's somewhere in the woods in one of the wolf dens. i remember that it was marked with a strange sigil and it was somewhere to the north but i'm too injured to find it please help me"
Player: (opens the map, sees the giant red circle where the magic doohickey is and walks straight toward it without paying attention to the world around him at all)
i hate this shit so much it makes games so fuckin boring
