‘Once upon a time a man met the Plague. “What are you up to”, he asked him? “I am on my way to Baghdad to kill 1,000 people.” “Oh”, said the man, “well I suppose that is what you have to do” and he went on his way. A few weeks later he met the Plague again coming back from Baghdad. “You misled me, Plague. You said you would kill 1,000 people but I know for a fact that 2,000 people died. The Plague replied, “No I only killed 1,000 people. The rest died of fear.”’
