I live in a single-family development, and there are a lot of reasons I love it for our family and think that communities like this should keep getting built.

Abolishing single-family zoning would *not* prevent such communities from getting built, or prevent child-friendly zoning areas with focus on reducing traffic and dangers. Instead it would make SFR developers pay a premium for their space taken.
