Just to be clear, the idea of the government (specifcially the Biden administration) giving subsidies/down-payments for commercial goods didn't work before and won't work again.
As someone pointed out earlier with Kamala's $25,000 downpayment, it's just going to drive up costs higher. And why is that? Because corporations sees that as free money. So whatever house you get with this initiative, add roughly $25,000 ontop of it because that's what the price will increase by AT LEAST.
