I have a friend who's self-hosting. Unfortunately, their storage fills up very quickly by caching every piece of inbound media that federates to it. Despite having settings in Mastodon to delete content older than a certain interval of time, storage still fills up rapidly.
What's the best way to purge all the remote stuff, and only store media uploaded to your own instance? Is this some weird stuff that needs to be set up on the S3 side?
