Data breaches happen all the time. And with the clear misunderstanding of the threat model by everyone on here, they will be way more common.
And sure, usually it’s just salted hashed passwords, but in this case it’s nsecs that cannot be changed. Someone can set up a program to memory dump or modify the signer program to log passwords and you’re fucked.
