There's an evo-psychology and behavioral psychology theory that says homosexuality and other paraphilias are a behavioral sink, almost like a societal immune system disrupting an unstable society on purpose to accelerate decline. An idea popped into my head when I saw this: what if troons are the evolved stage of this, like an epigenetic immune system cranking up the societal fever? If nothing else, it might very well kill the "online hookup" culture. How "funny" would it be if we get to a stage where regular people start having private hookup codes, the way oddballs and gays had them back in the day?
