just from a few minutes of using Lightworks, this is the first Linux video editor i think i could recommend to video enthusiasts and professionals who want to migrate to Linux.
but if you want anything beyond 720p export, you have to pay $9/mo for it. it's not open source. just like on Windows and macOS, you gotta fork out to get anything good.
