It's so wild to me that Fable 3 for Windows literally doesn't work anymore. It doesn't work because the Windows Live system got decommissioned. When you try to install Fable 3 (at least on Steam) it gets stuck in a spinlock waiting for a response from the Windows Live servers. You might think there would be a timeout, after which the game could either refuse to boot or start up with Live services disabled. I mean that would make sense. But it would also be wrong. It never recovers.
