I’ve been unemployed for a hot minute. I recently applied somewhere, put everything into the application (getting increasingly harder) and felt it went really well.
Yesterday, I got an email saying they had filled the position but would I like to have a chat? Cause they hire every now and then (I know the place, it’s way more then than now) but sure.
They actually scheduled a call for tomorrow. Pleasant surprise, cause that’s usually corpo speak for “we’re gonna keep you on file cause it’s polite”
Today, I’m going through my email accounts for a proper clear out.
A week ago they already invited me to interview, sent a follow-up and everything. Straight. Into. Spam.
I’ve been unemployed over a year and my closest shot so far got blocked because *my spam filter filtered out an email with no suspicious wording from a legit corp’s known email domain*
I have no words I’m just so upset
