BTW. I tried installing Ditto on Ubuntu 24.04 twice. Failed both times, late in the game, though I don't at present remember where. You'll have to reproduce that yourself anyway, so it doesn't really matter unless it works for you, and then I'll try a third time.
My first install, on 24.10, worked, except that entering an nsec didn't log you in. My latest, and second, 24.10 install works, but I've decided to do most of my browsing on ditto.pub, until I get a real ditto client for Mammudeck. But I'll continue using that to browse the Fediverse via Impeccable.Social.
