I actually think acts like this one best exemplify what decades of settler colonialism and apartheid violence do to a person’s mind, including children: every aspect of Palestinian existence - their food, their culture, their ties to the land, their clothes, their bodies - belong to the settler colony, and the agents of settler colonialism get to decide what they want to take and when they want to take it, however small or big.
