We were replacing flags in veterans graves today and came across this really unusual grave marker. It’s made of metal. It sort of looks like grey stone and the base is even cast to look like rough stone, but it’s not. There are two other of these plaques on other sides commemorating others of this family and the fourth side is an image of a wheat sheaf. The most recent family member past away in 1900.
