thanks for the source link. IMO you're way ahead hugo and personally I wished I had such a setup for my personal blog (now in an outdated hugo version).
However, the one thing I would add to every such html page is a "Feedback" link like at https://seppo.mro.name/en/about/#footer behind the hammer+wrench emoji and the according rewriterule.
