That's unfortunately what it's looking like.
It's the lesson to draw from the outcome of not having honored the guarantees given to Ukraine in return for giving up their nuclear deterrent, which can only be described as betrayal.
It may sound like madness, but at this point it would make sense for Poland, Baltics and Nordics to secure a joint nuclear deterrent.
To ward off against Russian *and* US blackmail, given insufficient certainty about whether France and the UK (never mind the US) would really use theirs.
