i know that's not the point but sonetimes i wish vtubers didn't stream as much and did story-focused projects around their characters. it's the epitome of the lore vs gameplay meme where their backstories are generally really cool and compelling but it's the backdrop for a persona that streams video games. it does give room for fanworks but still.
