I also admire the way Bitcoin has stood the test of time over the last decade or so, a technology that works so well that even hackers can't do anything about it. But in these times, when cybercrime is much more powerful than defense, cyber risk is also a risk for those who hold digital currency assets, and it's a risk I can't ignore. When the Department of Defense (meaning the US) systems are not immune to hacking, don't be naive enough to think that digital currency assets are immune to attack, which (meaning immune to attack) is one of the advantages of the gold asset class and one of the risks of all financial assets. In fact, I think there is a chance that in the future we will see a financial system made up of multiple digital currencies that will be more vulnerable to attack and disruption than we think now. Incidentally, something like this is happening at an increasing rate and could threaten the value of traditional financial assets. I've pointed out this risk, and it's up to you to believe it or not. While I know that bitcoins can be stored in 'cold wallets', I know of very few people who actually do so. Overall, I am not satisfied with Bitcoin's protection against cyber risk. I would also like to be corrected on this point
