The bright side: The more the islamists straight up attack Jews just minding their own business, and the more the self-identified left excuses it, the more both of them are exposing themselves to everyone else.

Islamists continuously crow over how they're going to take over the west. They might have a chance of doing that, if they knew to lie low and not to make waves until they reached critical mass. But they apparently are constitutionally unable to do that, so they end up being their own worst enemy.
