We may consider there are some politics at play here regarding the #conventions.

The only benefit I see from the constant drumbeat coming from all sides to replace #Biden is that the #Trump campaign is not certain who the Republican VP selection should be in the chaos.

Not that this would prevent Trump handlers from planning for multiple choices but the uncertainty around the VP pick benefits Biden's campaign.
