Green reflective signs with 4 inch letters. The test is whether you can see them at night in the rain, fog, or smoke. Most attempts at address signs won’t pass that test. Also they should be visible in the headlight sweep. Too high and they could be missed. Helps if the whole area has consistent signage that is visible as the emergency services are trying to close in on your address. We spent a lot of time getting this right on the mountain.
