Schmidt (npub1p47…2qfl) I've been following you and your #Monero content for a while. You seem pretty knowledgeable so you might be able to assuage my doubts.
Is there any plan in order to manage Monero #blockchain size (not block)? The blockchain size would explode, were Monero to see massive adoption. Reading up on community proposed solutions I see a lot of mentions of cheapening storage and processing costs but the way I see it that's just kicking the problems ahead.
Would there be any way to "summarize" the Monero blockchain and "restart" it at a lower size? Maybe this compression could be done once a year or something, keeping archival nodes just in case.
