Another piece on the #BBC evening news about the American party Congress.
It seems to be more like a sporting or entertainment event than a serious political gathering.
It's just a short TV snapshot, so may not be representative of the whole, but it doesn't fill me with confidence that American politics is a treated as a serious business.
And if I'm right - that it's trivial entertainment - that bodes badly for the whole world.
What am I missing?
