You know, starting with the pandemic I found I'd stopped taking the bus, and in doing so, I forgot how, if you're willing to keep your head out of your phone, it can be a unique way to passively experience a city.

A bus takes routes I might never otherwise take, and the ability to sit back and forget where I'm going and just drink in the trip means I notice things I might otherwise ignore.
