You can argue that a portion of the #energy that would be saved is from the financial sector.
Example being that there would be less of a need for asset managers and venture capitalists and the like because to a large extent all you would need is #bitcoin to store your wealth.
People in those professions would still be required in the future, but to a much lesser degree than today. Today, those professions are crowded with politics and ponzi like mechanics which should to some extent be washed away on a #bitcoinstandard.
The true asset managers and venture capitalists and the like who genuinely increase the pool of value created by us hoomans will remain. However, those that remain will use #bitcoin as their denominator.
