Sadly, many women never get beyond emotions (obviously not all).
I actually think there is a nugget of truth in her statement, but I think that is more about parents and schools not teaching young men to think or have responsibility, so they are thrown out into the world and have to learn the hard way.
When the US created its first navy of 4 ships under Thomas Jefferson, one of the Ship's Captains was only 18 years old, but he had worked on ships since he was 6 years old. When kids get responsibility when they are young, instead of being coddled, they learn to be responsible, brave, and think for themselves. When all they get in childhood is coddling and indoctrination, you get men who can't think and don't know how to do anything and think everything should be handed to them for existing.
