We had a bevvy of birthdays to end the year with, and, per our tradition, I dress up the little paper maché animal on their cake as something. Honorable Daughter #1 had her monkey dressed up as Speed Racer. I had to buy a pack of extra large ping pong balls to make the helmet.
Is it great? No. But not bad for having to do this in less than an hour while also planning & cooking 3 meals and wrapping all the presents and such.
It was a banana cake, for the record.
