Finally figured out how to play games I start from npub1v6qsrekup33e5t4g6c5247nrpvhpu7jtm035w74h3v54rvpxqzxqqkuwde (npub1v6q…uwde) with my Steam Controller:
Add Lutris as a Non-Steam game.

I tried adding games to Steam via Lutris's context menu option "Create Steam shortcut" but that would only put the Steam Controller into Desktop mode for the game.

So anyone looking to use Steam Controller with games started from Lutris:
- In Steam Launch: Add Non-Steam game
- Check Lutris in the menu
- Start Lutris from Steam
- Start game in Lutris
