I hear the struggle. Took me months to figure out my first nostr wallet (and that was the limited Primal in-app one - still a reliable daily driver though). There's honestly so many wallet options now and they all interact differently with various clients. Have you tried YakiHonne? Might be a bit more advanced than Primal but a very solid iOS client.
