That's it. You can't save everyone, you have to draw a line somewhere. At least they have a positive friend to talk to. 🫂
Financial strains are likely a big underlying issue for many marriages. We've all seen the charts from '71.
It's been a struggle here, ngl. I learned that those rainy days you saved for can last for much longer, and get much worse that you ever imagined. So it really is a good idea to cut spending right back as soon as your income is cut.
